Oral Hygiene

With each visit, our dental hygienist thoroughly and gently cleans your teeth and gums. We can take X-rays (or radiographs) and photos to keep tabs on any trouble spots. Regular cleanings are the best way to keep you smiling wider. Periodontal (gum) diseases, including gingivitis and periodontitis, are serious infections that, left untreated, can lead to tooth loss. Some common misconceptions about oral health are

Composite Fillings

Composite fillings yield a much more attractive and healthier smile with no obvious sign of dental work. We match the filling material to your tooth color and then bond it securely for a highly durable and great looking way to protect your tooth. In addition to looking better, these modern, tooth-colored fillings offer practical advantages over metal fillings, such as less removal of the tooth structure, a tighter seal formed between the filling and the tooth, and they can be repaired or added onto as needed. Amalgam fillings aren’t just unsightly—they also cause further damage to the rest of the tooth and can increase the risk of future fractures.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is the removal of the tooth’s pulp, a small, thread-like tissue in the center of the tooth. Once the damaged, diseased or dead pulp is removed, the remaining space is cleaned, shaped and filled. This procedure seals off the root canal. Years ago, teeth with diseased or injured pulps were removed. Today, root canal treatment saves many teeth that would otherwise be lost.

Dentures help replace missing teeth without the need for any tooth tissue drilling. The appliance can be made from acrylic or chrome materials depending on the type of denture you are looking for. Full dentures replace all the natural teeth in either the upper or lower jaw and fit snugly against the gums, whilst partial dentures help to fill the space left by lost or missing teeth. The procedure is more cost effective than alternative cosmetic treatments and extra teeth can be added in the future. They are also easy to clean and repair.
